In case you haven't noticed... we love our coffee at The Alleyway Cartel and we know you do too! Which is why we thought we’d write a long overdue blog introducing our amazing coffee suppliers at Padre Coffee Roasters!

Born in Melbourne back in 2008, Padre have been at the heart of the specialty coffee movement ever since. With three stores and their East Brunswick HQ in Melbourne, their first interstate storefront in Noosa, plus a large number of wholesale partners around Australia and internationally, the team are going strong and growing every day!

With a strong focus on ethical, sustainable coffee supply and the forming of close friendships with their international growers, Padre have put a firm focus on their collaborations and relationships across every point in the supply chain, and make it an ease to work with them.

We have been pouring their Wild Child blend down the Alleyway since day one and have never looked back, it’s consistent, always tastes great, and never lets us down! Next time you're in the alley, cast a glance at our shelves where you can find the other popular blends offered by Padre.

Their Daddy’s Girl blend is awash with tones of caramel and sweet milk chocolate, the versatile Seasonal blend, mild, balanced and good across a range of brewing methods as well as the Decaf blend with chocolate, caramel tones and soft orange acidity, because decaf is never a dirty word.

Situated within the Versus HQ precinct in the heart of Murrumbeena, just a 5-minute drive from Chadstone Shopping Centre, stocking products from an assortment local makers and traders, The Alleyway Cartel has comfortable seated areas for you to dine in and enjoy your delicious Padre coffee paired with your choice of Milklab Alternative milk and fresh daily Penny for Pound Pastry in the sun.
